Compacted ear wax can cause ear ache, infection and other problems. Self or unorthodox methods of removal can cause trauma or permanent damage. Trying to self clean the ear canal should be avoided at all costs as this can cause severe complications, including perforation or infection.

Ear micro-suction is the safest method of removing ear wax it is less invasive than ear syringing with less complications such as ear drum perforation or infection. It is a painless and effective way of cleaning the ear canal of wax and/or debris.
